Previous Versions

You can download previous versions of Ice but we highly recommend upgrading to the most recent release. Although ZeroC supports older versions for users with support contracts, we only provide free support on our forums for the latest release.

Linux Users

Ice runs on most recent Linux distributions, but it is only tested and supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, Amazon Linux 2012.09, and SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11. RPMs for the supported platforms are available on our download page. Users of other Linux distributions can build Ice from the source distribution or check our Projects forum for information on third-party Ice distributions.

Binary distributions are provided for certain platform/compiler combinations. Visit our download page to see the complete list of distributions.

Other Platforms
