about Mono & ICE

Has anyone used mono & ice in production? I want to know whether these cases exist or not.

I have a multiplatform application developed with C# and Gtk# that works perfectly with ZeroC Ice. However, I was running into some issues with Mono 2.10.x and Ice 3.4.2, but I think it's a problem with Mono, as it works fine on Windows with MS .NET.

I will shortly report this issue in the Bug Reports.

Thanks for your information. I have noticed mono gc had some problems. It is the main reason for me to use mono in production. Did you experience any problem with gc?

Hi Gelin,

I'd never had any problems with Mono and ZeroC Ice until a few weeks ago. I ran into an issue with reflection that is reported here.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with Mono or Ice. My application works fine with MS .NET and previous versions of Mono though.
