    "Ice.StdOut=..." Broken on Windows v3.3.1?

    It appears that:

    a) Ice.StdOut = ..., and
    b) Ice.StdErr = ...,

    are not operating as advertised on Windows v3.3.1. Since it appears that the default is no output (see p. 1792 of the v3.3.1 manual), it is difficult to ascertain what the issue is.

    The prior post on related topic has been a futile attempt to track to ground the cited problem. Given a user manual of 1900+ pages, some additional (and non-redundant) information would be most helpful! Please advise.
