Eclipse plugin: syntax-highlighting editor?
I note that the main change in the 20091005 version of the Eclipse slice2java plugin is that .ice files now open by default in the Eclipse text editor instead of an external editor. That's a nice change, but it makes me wonder about possible extensions: is there any chance that future versions of the plugin might include a syntax-highlighting Eclipse editor for Ice files? That would be most excellent ... at the moment, I often still create *.ice files in another editor just for the syntax highlighting and indenting, and just make minor changes in Eclipse afterwards.
