    ICE for ipv6

    Does ZeroC have a plan to port ice to ipv6 ?

    There are no such plans, unless there is a customer with a commercial need for such a feature.

    oh ,Why not? This feature may be very useful and does not require much effort!

    There are many useful features that we could implement; however, our priorities are strictly driven by the needs of our commercial customers. This method does not only insure that we can pay our salaries, but also insures that we concentrate on features that are truly useful in real-world applications, instead of implementing something just because it's a cool or fun project.
