Question Does ICE for Java supports JDK 1.3.1?

The supported Java platform announced is 1.4.2.

Is there any chance that 1.3.1 would work?
If not, what 1.4 features ICE needs ?

Hi,

Ice for Java requires the java.nio API which is available only since 1.4.x. I suspect it would be quite a bit of work to support previous JDK versions.

Benoit.
