Background Information

I'd be interested to hear any historical background you can give us about Ice and ZeroC the company.

e.g.

* How long has Ice been in the making?
* How many people were involved in the development?
* How many people do you have now and are they located all over the world?
* Are you all working fulltime on Ice?
* Does the company have commercial backing?
* etc

I'd understand if you'd prefer not to answer some of the above, but I am interested to hear how it all came about.

We have currently 4 employees (the four M's), plus one part-time employee. Ice started out as a hobby of mine after I left my former employer. It became more serious later, until we eventually decided to make a product out of it. And yes, we have substantial financial backing
