Thank you for the suggestion.

Inclusion in the OpenPKG package library would have to be done by the OpenPKG developers. And one potential issue is that Ice does not support FreeBSD.

Are you looking for in an Ice RPM distribution on Solaris? FreeBSD?

No, not really. We are using openpkg on Linux. While Ice greatly simplifies our development openpkg does the same to deployment.
