    Submitting Ice packages to Fedora?

I note that Fedora is no longer an officially supported platform as of Ice 3.2. Would it be acceptable if I used the current spec files as the basis for submitting Ice to be packaged as part of Fedora?

For previous versions of Fedora, the package would have gone into "extras" (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras); that repository doesn't exist any more for upcoming Fedoras (https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedo...msg00091.html), but I believe the process for submitting packages is still similar.

I suspect that the spec file will have to be modified a bit to conform to the Fedora packaging standards. Would it be okay if I did this and submitted the packages?

Just checking if this would be okay before I work too hard on the spec file.

Of course! Ice is GPL, so you are free to create your own distributions based on the ones we release.
