ice 301 and 310
hey guys
although i read the message about the new version i did not realize it the next days when i was about to finish my development process and compile on a clean machine. of course i did download the version from the net and found myself confronted with compileerrors where i did not expect them (Ice::stringToIdentity() is now communicator->stringToIdentity())
now if i deliver the (source) package of my software using the 3.0.1 and someone trys to compile it he finds the error because he most likely downloads 3.1.0 even if i write about it in the readme.
is it my responsibility to pack the ice distribution into my package - because it is not available anymore on the downloadpage and i did something weird that is not possible in the new version?
whats your opinion about that?
peace
m
