The status variable contains the exit status of the program and the ic variable,of type Ice::Communicator, contains the main handle to the Ice run time.

I wonder if the ic variable should be of type Ice::Communicatorptr?

is it?or I misunderstand the English word?

Thanks for the bug report. You are right, it should be CommunicatorPtr. I've fixed this for the next release.
