Bernard Normier Joins ZeroC
ZeroC is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its staff: Bernard Normier. Bernard is a long-time CORBA practitioner, with a particular emphasis on database integration. After his 1995 master's thesis "Integrating CORBA and Object Databases", he joined IONA Technologies and became one of the lead engineers for the Orbix 2000 product. Bernard is best known in OMG circles for authoring the Persistent State Service specification, and until last month served as chair of the C++ and Transaction Service Revision Task Force committees.
