ZeroC, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Ice for Silverlight 0.3.0.

Ice for Silverlight integrates Ice with Microsoft's Silverlight platform to build interactive Web applications using type-safe remote calls and an efficient over-the-wire protocol. This release adds support for a socket transport as an alternative to the bridged HTTP requests of prior releases. The socket transport, which must be used in conjunction with a Glacier2 router, also enables a client to receive callbacks from remote servers.
